Volunteer Work
All in Recreation (AIR)
As a volunteer for the AIR program, I had the opportunity to work with individuals with and without special needs at Sacramento State campus. I was able to assist with wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, the unified basketball league, and weekly wellness hours. It was a great opportunity to develop my communication skills and learn new skills.

Core Contemporary Dance
Core Contemporary Dance is a non-profit organization that puts on performances and also works to expose youth in the community to different types of dance. As a dancer, I had the opportunity to help and lead school assemblies, adaptive dance classes, master classes, and after school programs.
Move With Purpose
Move With Purpose is a non-profit that provides individuals with special needs the opportunity to dance. As their secretary, I helped coordinate WeJam and fundraising events. A big part of what I did was search for and link donors to the organization. I’m also proud to get the opportunity to work hands on with special needs students in the dance studio.
